Becoming a mother changed my perspective on fleeting moments forever. I realized just how precious each passing second really is...

It hit me hard how much I just want to capture everything. All the freckles, all the laughs, all the smiles, hand holds, cuddles, and even cries. I want to remember it all and the best way for us to do that is to document it.

Although I can't capture every moment for you, I decided never to let anyone I work with feel like they won't have the little details documented. I decided to go the extra mile for every couple and family I work with and document things in a natural and easy way.

The process I use is called Documentary Style family and wedding photography. This means that my technique is heavy on the candid, un-posed moments. I meet you where you're at. If that means your outfits are uncoordinated, your kids hair is undone, and the baby is crying so you have to cuddle and nurse a little extra, so be it! That is where the moments tell the story of what your life looks like these days. That is what you will remember. And I'm here to capture that.

Because of this way of doing things, the kids and men in our sessions enjoy it so much more.

We play your favorite tunes, we break out the snacks, we have a good time. Of course there are a few posed shots, but they are intermingled with the play. The men leave the sessions saying, "Whoa, I actually had fun." And the women tell me later how confident and beautiful they felt in their own skin.

So grab your sweethearts, grab a road trip snack, and let's go make some magic. Somewhere adventurous or close to home. I'll be there with my best hiking shoes or my fuzzy socks!
